SOLD OUT!!! — Wine Tour details!

Back by popular demand is a fall winery tour to Prince Edward County. Yeah! Our fall wine tour was a club staple for, well, forever! Stupid COVID interrupted that tradition and a few things seemed to conspire against us ever again experiencing the fun of a By-Town Wine Tour. But… we’re thrilled to bring back the fun this October. Join us from October 15 – 17 for a great tour of the PEC wine area. Included in your trip is:

  • return transportation to Prince Edward County and to all wineries
  • car parking at Riverside Church
  • two-nights accommodation at the fabulous Huff Estates Winery and Inn
  • two breakfasts
  • two lunches (an all-you can eat pizza buffet and a three course meal)
  • one group dinner
  • tastings at 9 wineries
  • afternoon snacks at 2 wineries
  • bus snacks on the way to PEC and back

With this almost all-inclusive trip all you’ll pay for, once we leave Ottawa, is for one dinner, one lunch and a morning coffee/tea on the way to PEC (and, of course, any wine you purchase!). As you can see from this tour, the By-Town option is a pretty great one!

The cost for active members is only $675 per member (double occupancy).

To reserve a spot, please follow this procedure:

  • send an email to register you and any others in your party
  • PLEASE DO NOT send the deposit until you have a return email confirming your registration
  • when you receive a note back that you have a spot reserved, please send your deposit of $200 per person (no later than July 3, 2024)
  • complete your payment (of $475 per person) by September 5, 2024
  • how to pay information here

Please note the mobility requirements for this trip require attendees to get on and off a coach bus several times per day and maybe climb one set of stairs (most wine tastings are on the main floor but there could be a need to go up one floor for a tasting…).

Currently, registration is open to members (and their spouse and/or room partner) only.
